Fans may see an injured star returning to “WWE Raw” tonight.

According to a new report from PWInsider, Tommaso Ciampa is scheduled to at least be backstage tonight for “WWE Raw.” Ciampa has been out for quite some time with a serious hip injury, but with “Raw” taking place in Cleveland, OH this week, he’ll be right in an old friend’s stomping grounds. Ciampa’s former DIY tag partner-turned rival Johnny Gargano hails from Cleveland and speculation has risen that two could reunite to tag once more. Gargano recently spoke on Catch Club about the possibility of the two teaming up once more.

“You never know. I think as long as me and Ciampa are in the same company, or even in wrestling in general, we’ll always be linked together. And there was always that idea of what would happen if DIY was on RAW and SmackDown. The amount of dream matches that could come of that. And I think we haven’t scratched the surface of that yet.”

What Else Could Be On Tap For Tonight’s WWE Raw?

If Ciampa and Gargano do show up on tonight’s “WWE Raw” they’ll also be joining Logan Paul who is confirmed to be on the program tonight. Paul hasn’t been seen since his memorable WrestleMania 39 match against Seth Rollins. Paul came up in a losing effort, but much has changed since we’ve last seen as Rollins has become the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Also confirmed for “Raw” is Rhea Ripley taking on Natalya, Matt Riddle battles Ludwig Kaiser and Trish Stratus aims to qualify for WWE Money In The Bank against Raquel Rodriguez.
