Tension in The Bloodline has been brewing for weeks, but Jimmy Uso may have finally tipped Roman Reigns over the edge, whether he wanted to or not.
On the May 26th episode of SmackDown, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn hosted the KO show and discussed their rivalry with The Bloodline. Owens said that while he didn’t understand it, Zayn still cares about The Usos.
KO talked up the brothers as the best tag team WWE has ever seen, but claimed they had thrown that away by becoming nothing more than errand boys for Roman Reigns.
The Usos stood seething during the promo and the simmering anger boiled over as Jimmy Uso grabbed the mic and declared that he was the Tribal Chief.
“Errand boys huh? That’s pretty cute KO. Hey check this out Sami Zayn. Open up your ears when I tell you. Standing in front of you is the best damn tag team in the world. So when it comes to Jimmy and Jey, The Usos, when it comes to the day 1’s, I am the Tribal Chief!”
Immediately after the mic drop, Roman Reigns’ music hit, and a stunned Paul Heyman stood on the apron pleading “What did you do.” As Reigns confronted The Usos, Zayn told him it was “over” and The Bloodline was falling apart.
Jimmy Uso Throws In One More Act Of Defiance
As the tension ratcheted up even further, Owens hit Reigns with a Stunner and a wild brawl broke out which ended with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion hitting a devastating Spear on Zayn.
As Jey handed the Tag Team Title belts to Solo Sikoa, Jimmy reluctantly did the same to Reigns. However, as the group posed and threw up the 1’s, Jimmy slunk into the corner of the ring and notably refused.
Roman Reigns will team with Solo Sikoa to take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed Tag Team Titles at Night of Champions.
