Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJP has hilariously revealed his prized possession of his own headshot signed by Hulk Hogan!
The ex-WWE and IMPACT Wrestling star was an actor in his youth, something his flight attendant mother was proud of. So proud, in fact, that she kept some of his headshots spare for situations like asking Hulk Hogan to sign them while on a flight.
TJP recently sat down with Chris Van Vliet on his Insight podcast, revealing the shockingly hilarious possession:
“I was an actor when I was a kid, I still have my headshot. My mom got Hulk Hogan to sign it, she would keep some of them [spare]. She is a flight attendant and she sometimes likes to brag about her son. She had Hulk Hogan on her flight and she went into first class and asked him to sign it. So I have a Hulk Hogan signed headshot, of my own headshot.”
Although TJP wrestled a handful of tryout matches for WWE in the past, it wasn’t until 2016 that he signed with the company after winning the Cruiserweight Classic and, thus, the Cruiserweight Championship. He stayed with the company until February 2019, being released alongside Tye Dillinger and Arn Anderson.
More recently, ‘The Fil-Am Flash’ has been working for IMPACT, NJPW, and MLW, holding the former’s X Division Championship for 92 days. In NJPW, meanwhile, he represents Will Ospreay’s United Empire faction, holding the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships alongside newest member Francesco Akira.
TJP last wrestled against former WCW World Cruiserweight Champion Juventud Guerrera for the Xtreme Pro Wrestling organisation.
