Eddie Kingston Holds Nothing Back In New Comments On AEW Suspension

Eddie Kingston

Eddie Kingston has been on social media doing what Eddie Kingston does. In a series of tweets the star discussed his suspension and hit back at criticism from Disco Inferno.

It was recently reported and subsequently confirmed that Eddie Kingston had been suspended by AEW following an altercation with Sammy Guevara. The pair had been due to meet at All Out, but the match now appears to have been scrapped.

It was reported that the issues stemmed from Guevara referring to Kingston as a “fat piece of sh*t” in a promo which was later edited from Rampage. The Spanish God claimed that he hadn’t been told by Kingston that any topics were off limits so delivered the heel promo as he saw fit.

However, Kingston was unhappy with the comments and got into a heated confrontation with Guevara when he got backstage. The end result was a suspension for the Mad King.

After expressing his regret for the situation and apologising through the media, Kingston has now taken to social media to address the controversy.

The star initially appeared to fire back at the comments on the incident made by Guevara by posting the following quote.

“Never totally bury your opponent.” This is one of the first lessons about promos that Chris Jericho learned according to his first book “A Lions Tale: Around the World in Spandex”

He followed that up by hitting back at former WCW star Disco Inferno who made light of body-shaming in wrestling, something Kingston has always spoken passionately about.

Moving on, Kingston said that he was trying to be the bigger man, but there was a lot of “ho sh*t” coming out of people’s mouths.

After suggesting that fans move on to Dynamite’s recent ratings success and the performance of his friend Penta, Kingston returned to Disco Inferno.

With numerous reports flying around on the situation it was also suggested that Sammy Guevara has become difficult to work with in recent months, with some in AEW not keen to work with the star.
