Dolph Ziggler Appears On Being The Elite

Dolph Ziggler NXT Champion

Dolph Ziggler indirectly opened the forbidden door between AEW and WWE.

The Show-Off happened to be recorded by his brother, Ryan Nemeth, as he was signing posters for “Hunkamania” the upcoming comedy show he was doing with Ryan. Ryan coyly asked him if he heard the Jackson brothers re-signed with AEW and Dolph, keeping in tune with his funny bone, asked, “Tito and Michael?”

Dolph made clear that Ryan has put him on Being The Elite several times now, whether it was his voice or his hands, but this time fans literally got to see the former WWE Heavyweight Champion. The video has a “note-to-self” for Ryan to blur out Dolph’s face, which he clearly doesn’t do.

Dolph Ziggler Had Thoughts He Wasn’t A “WWE Guy” In The Company’s Eyes

While he’s inadvertently showing up on BTE, Ziggler hasn’t been a featured talent in WWE for quite some time. He had a memorable match with Austin Theory and before that did a stint in NXT, having a title feud with Bron Breakker. However former WWE star Tyler Breeze mentioned in an interview that Ziggler once said to him that they weren’t “their guys.” Ziggler thought he was almost not going to be that either in 2008.

Dolph’s brother Ryan has been the topic of conversation in AEW as he wasn’t allowed to be backstage at Collision this past Saturday due to previous comments he made about CM Punk, calling him “the softest man alive,” which didn’t do him any additional favors.
