Dax Harwood Claims Recent FTR Match Could Be Best Of Their Careers

AEW Stars FTR Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler with AAA Tag Titles

Dax Harwood has claimed that a recent FTR bout might just be the best of he and Cash Wheeler’s careers.

While FTR have been one of the more highly regarded tag teams in the world for a number of years, 2022 has seen their stock skyrocket.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler began the year with AAA tag team gold and have since added both the Ring of Honor and IWGP World Tag Team Titles. Not only that the two men have appeared in a number of highly acclaimed bouts across numerous promotions. Their bouts with The Briscoes and The Young Bucks will undoubtedly be remembered for years to come.

At NJPW’s Royal Quest II inside the Crystal Palace Arena in London, England the duo may have now added another classic to the list. On October 1st Harwood and Wheeler defended their IWGP World Tag Team Titles against Aussie Open in a match that has got fans around the world talking.

Posting on social media in the aftermath of the event, Harwood claimed that the match might have been one of FTR’s greatest.

“About 45 mins until my plane lands. Reflecting on Saturday’s match has me emotional. That might have been our best one ever. I’m not sure what other tag matches we’ll have this year, but 2022 has been an incredible ride w/ great moments. Thank yall, coast-to-coast. Top Guys, out.”

The bout also impressed Aussie Open’s United Empire teammate Will Ospreay who described the contest as the best tag team match he had ever seen.
