Dave Meltzer Responds To Dax Harwood After Airing Grievances On Social Media

Dave Meltzer

The war of words continue between Dave Meltzer and Dax Harwood.

There certainly appears to be no love-loss between the two parties as Harwood believes there’s a contingency in AEW that “runs to Dave” when they want to leak information and that includes the latest report from Meltzer that a “top name” left in a bad mood following the AEW Dynamite tapings. Harwood made such a comment on Twitter before deleting the polarizing message on Friday. However, everything his caught on the “big blue birdhouse” so Harwood’s words were already screen-shotted. It didn’t take long for the editor of the Wrestling Observer to catch wind of the AEW Tag Team Champion’s comments, particularly the note of handling a situation “face to face.”

“Remember the last time that happened?”

Meltzer is likely making reference to the infamous “Brawl Out” situation that brought on all this drama in the first place, but the journalist has certainly found himself deep in the weeds with the situation.

Dave Meltzer Has Been One Source For Drama In AEW

No matter what side of the fence you find yourself on in the “CM Punk vs. The Elite” behind-the-scenes battle, Meltzer has been a source that has added fuel to the fire for fans. This has seen some elevation since CM Punk made his return to AEW as just this week he stated that matters have gotten even more divisive after CM Punk’s ESPN interview and the Collision promo that followed. Meltzer was notoriously at the infamous All Out media scrum which an angry Punk even took a moment to mention him by name and ask him a question.

Along with Harwood, Dave Meltzer has garnered his fair share of critics in the industry including Jim Cornette and Eric Bischoff, both of whom have been very outspoken on their respective podcasts. However, he also has his advocates as well with names like Konnan and even Terry Funk.
