Darby Allin made history by planting the AEW flag on Mount Everest, and several stars reacted.
Today marked a historic moment in professional wrestling, as AEW star Darby Allin scaled Mount Everest. The 32-year-old shared this achievement via social media, posting a picture of himself at the summit on Instagram and X.
Given how incredible it is, the comments section on the posts is flooded with reactions to Allin’s achievement. Below are some of the reactions shared by his peers in the pro wrestling industry.
On X, MJF and Swerve Strickland were some of the first AEW stars to share their thoughts. MJF, as expected, did not have any words of praise or congratulations for Allin. Instead, he questioned the former two-time AEW TNT Champion’s ability in the ring.
But did he win a match with a headlock takeover?”
Strickland, on the other hand, was the polar opposite. He excitedly tweeted out his congratulations to Allin on reaching the “top of the world.”
TOP OF THE WORLD!!!”
Of course, the reactions don’t end there. As mentioned earlier, Darby Allin also shared a picture of himself beside the AEW flag on Instagram. There, he received several comments and likes from a number of superstars. AEW’s Evil Uno, Chris Jericho, Satnam Singh, and his former mentor, Sting, shared their reactions, as did WWE’s Karrion Kross and TNA’s Matt Hardy, among others.

It truly is amazing what Allin has done. It just goes to show how exceptional an athlete he really is.
Darby Allin could return to in-ring action soon
Speaking of Darby Allin’s athleticism, the 32-year-old hasn’t been seen in AEW in quite some time. His last match was against Ricochet way back in December during an episode of Dynamite. Since then, he has been off TV, and rightfully so, considering how trying an expedition to Mount Everest is.
However, now that he has completed his mission, some fans will be wondering when he will return to in-ring action. Well, according to reports, there is optimism that he will return soon, perhaps even in time for the Owen Hart Tournament and Double or Nothing.
