Daniel Garcia Addresses Consistent Fan Speculation Regarding AEW Future

AEW star Daniel Garcia has addressed the persistent rumours regarding his wrestling future.

With it being widely reported that many wrestlers from the top promotions are assessing their options and deciding whether they should stay at the company they are at or explore other opportunities, fans have already begun to speculate who will be leaving the respective promotions when the existing deals expire.

Garcia’s name has come up in conversation a lot online regarding these talks, with some assuming that the attack by MJF was a way to write him off TV as he was not re-signing. However, with Garcia reappearing at All In to cost MJF his victory over Will Ospreay, conversations started once more.

Appearing on Good Karma Wrestling, Garcia said the following about his status with the company being discussed publicly:

I won’t lie, I mean, it can be difficult sometimes when every time you open up your phone and it’s somebody assuming something about you and your life. Not even just your career. It’s real-life stuff that people are assuming about. So sometimes it can be a little difficult and it can get into your head and it can make you just question everything and it can be frustrating because you’re like, ‘Where is this information coming from? Where are people getting this information?’

So honestly, it can be a lot to process sometimes but, I think if you just, you know, move with integrity, stick to your guns and have full belief that you’re doing what’s right and that you will do what’s right, I think that’s what matters most. I think if you do that, it can be easier to block out the noise than if you’re not.

Daniel Garcia Details AEW Goal

At All Out, Garcia looks to get revenge on MJF as he faces off against the former World Champion. Also on the podcast, Garcia stated that his ultimate goal was to be the one to hand Bryan Danielson that defeat:

Man, I mean, the goal that I’ve had for probably the past two years, it’s really a goal that only one person can do is I really want to be the person to retire Bryan Danielson. That’s something that I really wanna do. To me, that would mean more than any title, any accolade. I feel like that’s the biggest notch in my belt that I could ever get, and that is my main focus and that is my goal.
