Chris Jericho Knocked Out On His Own Cruise By Former WWE Champion

Chris Jericho was on the losing end of an altercation on his own cruise ship.

Beginning in 2018, Jericho offered fans a truly unique experience as they could book themselves on a cruise featuring live wrestling, music and stand-up comedy. According to a new report, it was not all plain sailing in 2020.

Following Jericho’s Christmas Day social media posts directed at attorney Stephen P. New, Jim Cornette and Brian Last discussed the AEW star’s online actions on Cornette’s Drive-Thru podcast. Last alluded to the fact that there was a previously untold story about Jericho that he was aware of:

“Man, there is a story I would love to tell, but i didn’t get permission, but him getting knocked out on his own cruise ship by someone he mouthed off to. It’s the most incredible f*cking story, but I can’t talk about that today.“

In a follow-up report by Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, it has been confirmed that the incident did take place and the person who knocked out Jericho is one that fans are very familiar with. Haynes stated that the former United States Champion MVP was the one responsible and that heated words were exchanged before physicality ensued.

This has not been the first time that Jericho and MVP have been part of an altercation. In 2022, AEW presented an episode of Dynamite in Houston, Texas. MVP, who was staying in the same hotel in Houston as Chris Jericho, got into a heated argument with the former AEW Champion in the lobby. Jericho reportedly walked away from the incident towards the elevator after saying to MVP “I don’t fight jobbers.”

Chris Jericho Not Interested In Facing Previous Rivals

With All Elite Wrestling now in its 5th year, many legends from WWE have since made their way over to All Elite Wrestling such as Adam Copeland, Christian Cage and Bryan Danielson. In a recent interview, Chris Jericho stated that he is much more interested in first-time-ever matches than facing off against former rivals once again.

In an exclusive show with Chris Jericho in 2022, the former WWE star discussed the Money in the Bank ladder match.
