Darby Allin has been out of action in AEW for a while. However, with Double or Nothing on the horizon, a recent report has made an interesting claim about the star.
Allin recently achieved a historic feat after successfully summiting Mount Everest. The star was last seen in action on December 22, 2024, taping of Dynamite, where he competed in a Draw against Ricochet in the Continental Classic Tournament. Since then, Allin has achieved what can only be considered an enormous feat and has scaled the highest peak in the world. The star also planted the flag of the company at the summit.
Following the feat, fans have now been pondering whether the star will appear on the upcoming Double or Nothing PPV. According to a report from Fightful Select, Allin appearing on the show “wasn’t an impossibility.”

The Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing is shaping up to be a blockbuster. The babyfaces side of Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland, The Opps, and Willow Nightingale are sure to give the heels (Death Riders and The Young Bucks) a run for their money. However, it remains almost certain that Jon Moxley and crew will have an ace up their sleeve to defeat Omega and co. However, the tides could be turned with Darby Allin making a surprise return and siding with the faces.
This would surely blow the roof off the arena and create a major buzz for the show. Allin is arguably one of the most over stars in AEW, and his return would only add to the hype.
