What is next for Bryan Danielson after AEW WrestleDream?

Tonight in Washington, Bryan Danielson is scheduled to fight against his former Blackpool Combat Club (BCC) member Jon Moxley and defend his World Championship. The two are currently involved in a heated rivalry after Moxley turned his back on Danielson.

However, before the expected violent fight between the two friends, Danielson appeared in an interview with Undisputed’s Justin Barrasso and addressed his wrestling future as he fights off injuries. Bryan Danielson recently admitted to losing strength in his feet and is now set to defend his gold.

The reality is, no matter what happens at WrestleDream, I don’t have much time left. October 4, 1999 was my first-ever wrestling match. In relation to those 25 years, I have a reality short amount of time left. And any match can be your last at any given time. When I was forced to retire due to concussions, I didn’t think my last match was going to be tagging with John Cena against Claudio and TJ Wilson.

That ended up being my last match for three years. So any match can be your last match. And whether this is my last match as a full-time wrestler or not, I know that time is coming soon.”

The American Dragon is also expected to have surgery later this year. At AEW WrestleDream, Bran Danielson finished his full-time career in brutal fashion.

Bryan Danielson Shares A Hilarious Incident About His Son, Buddy

A family man, Danielson’s family, his wife Brie Garcia along with his children were present at ringside during his World Championship match against Swerve Strickland at All In 2024. In an interview with Taryn Daly and Steve Migs on The Daly Migs Show, Bryan Danielson opened up on a hilarious incident about his son.

We had a parent-teacher conference at my daughter’s school and it was like, ‘Your daughter is the best. She’s the best student. She’s so helpful.’ Later that night, I get an email from where our son was going to school telling us he had been kicked out of school for ‘biting two teachers and gouging one in the eye.’ [laughs]. Of course they’re like, ‘Of course, the wrestler’s son is gouging somebody in the eye.’ Some of the things I’ve done…..[laughs]. We’re like, ‘No we don’t let him watch wrestling. That’s not me in real life.”
