Following the news that Road Dogg is back with WWE, another NXT figure is also reportedly heading back to the company.
As the changes continue to come thick and fast both on and off-screen, another former WWE employee could be about to return to the company.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, Ryan Katz, who was released by WWE in January, will soon be back with the sports entertainment giant. Katz had been an integral part of NXT’s creative team for seven years, before being released.
The news comes after it was reported that Road Dogg is also back with WWE in an “executive position” after leaving in January.
The reshuffle appears to have been set into motion by the departure of Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett had only returned to WWE in May and had been working as Senior Vice President of Live Events. The star even featured on television at SummerSlam where he served as the special guest referee for the clash between The Usos and The Street Profits.
It has since been noted that Road Dogg will step into Jarret’s former position.
With regard to Ryan Katz, the report from Fightful adds that he is expected to return to WWE if he hasn’t already, and had remained close to many in NXT. There were rumours that he had returned last month, this appears to be when WWE ramped up their interest.
Since leaving WWE, Road Dogg and Katz have worked together on the former’s “Oh… You Didn’t Know” podcast.
