A surprising confrontation unfolded over the weekend as former AEW World Champion MJF crossed paths with TikTok star Big Boom AJ at a Boca Raton Championship Wrestling event on Sunday.
During the event, MJF faced QT Marshall in a heated match. Midway through, AJ—best known as part of the social media sensation “Costco Guys” and a former independent wrestler—inserted himself into the action. AJ climbed onto the apron, engaging in a verbal spat with Marshall before taking him down with a dramatic strike. As MJF regained his footing, he found himself in the ring, face-to-face with AJ. The two exchanged sharp words, building tension before AJ made his exit. The former AEW World Champion went on to secure victory with a devastating brainbuster.
This marked another wrestling appearance for AJ, who recently returned to the sport at AEW Full Gear last month. At the event, he defeated QT Marshall in a match aired during the Full Gear Zero Hour pre-show. Despite breaking his foot prior to that match, AJ delivered a standout performance. AJ has remained active in the wrestling world, attending last week’s All In Texas Countdown on-sale event with his family.
As for MJF, he is gearing up for a massive match against former tag team partner Adam Cole on December 28th, as he defends his Dynamite Diamond Ring at AEW Worlds End.
Which WWE Hall Of Famer’s Finishing Move Was MJF Denied To Use?
It was reported by QT Marshall that MJF requested to use DDP’s finishing move, the Diamond Cutter, but was told no by Page. Marshall, who was given permission to use the move, loves that fans hate the fact he was gifted the move instead of the former AEW World Champion and wants to remind fans at every possible opportunity.
