Former AEW World Champion MJF and Hall of Famer Nikki Bella linked up.
Later next month in July, the sequel to the original 1996 comedy ‘Happy Gilmore’ is scheduled to release on 25th July, 2025. Directed by Kyle Newacheck, the film will star Adam Sandler, Julie Bowen, and Christopher McDonald in their original roles, while AEW and WWE stars MJF and Becky Lynch will also have a brief role in the film.
Recently, MJF and Bella were spotted together on the set of ‘Happy Gilmore 2’. On Instagram, Bella shared a behind-the-scenes image from the set, showing the two wrestlers during filming. Following a prior announcement of a significant development in July, this sighting appears to be related to her role in the upcoming comedy.

MJF Reveals How He Was Selected For ‘Happy Gilmore 2’
Earlier this year, during an interview with Jimmy Traina of Sports Illustrated, the former World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman opened up on how he was selected for his role in the Adam Sandler comedy ‘Happy Gilmore 2’.
“Adam Sandler himself saw my audition and he was apparently laughing like a hyena. Then he said, I want this guy to not audition for the other role I auditioned for originally. I’d like him to audition to be this role. I auditioned for that role and I got the role and it’s a big role in the movie. I’m very excited for the movie when it comes out.”
