The AEW World tag-team titles were stolen during tonight’s Dynamite episode.
With less than a week left for the much-awaited 2025 All In PPV in Arlington, Texas, fans were treated to one of the most eventful Dynamite episodes in a long time. In the go-home show for the promotion before the PPV, fans witnessed The Hurt Syndicate suffer a tragic fate.
On July 12th, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin of The Hurt Syndicate are set to defend their World Tag-Team titles against Kevin Knight, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Christian Cage, and Nick Wayne. However, in the first few minutes of the July 9th episode of Dynamite, fans witnessed The Hurt Syndicate’s tag titles get stolen from the locker room.
JetSpeed (Bailey and Knight) successfully stole the titles and left behind a polite note, which read:
Hey Shelton, since I already pinned you on Collision, figured we would take the belts early! Happy birthday! Jet Speed.”
However, later in the night, during MJF’s promo battle with Mark Briscoe, The Hurt Syndicate would come out to provide backup for Maxwell Jacob Friedman, before being ambushed by Jet Speed and The Patriarchy.
Bailey and Knight came out with the stolen titles and used them to attack the current champions. The segment closed with Jet Speed and The Patriarchy launching a brutal ambush on Lashley and Benjamin, leaving them completely vulnerable inside the squared circle.
With just a few hours left for the show, will the champions be able to avenge their humiliation tonight?
MJF Has Vowed To “Cash In” Against Jon Moxley After AEW All In 2025
MJF is set to enter the Casino Gauntlet match at the All In PPV and recently laid out a challenge for Jon Moxley. The Salt of the Earth vowed to go after The Death Riders’ leader, if both of them manage to win later this week.
“If Dictator Jon wins, I’m cashing in on him. I have nothing to prove with that guy. I already beat that shmuck at Full Gear in New Jersey. If Hangman wins, bit of a different story. I’m not going to get into it now, but I have a lot of plans and a lot of Plan Bs, Cs, Ds, and Es for whatever is going to occur at the end of the night. The one thing I can assure you is, no matter what, I am winning that Casino Gauntlet.”
