World title contender match announced for AEW Revolution.
With around two weeks away, AEW Revolution already has one of the most decorative match cards in a long time. With seven matches stacked on the main card, one more match has found its way in.
Tonight on the 26th February episode of Dynamite, Swerve Strickland and Ricochet’s rivalry reached new heights. As the animosity between the two increased, their story advanced to the next stage. Following an agreement to meet at Revolution on March 9th, an additional stipulation was implemented.
At Revolution 2025, Ricochet will take on Swerve Strickland with the winner getting a shot at the AEW World Championship. On the same night at Revolution, Jon Moxley is also set to defend his title against Cope.
Ricochet last faced Strickland on the 5th February episode of Dynamite in a winning encounter. With their second match now officially on the cards, fans expect the two to reach new levels. With Prince Nana’s robe with Ricochet, a tense moment also took place between Strickland and his manager, as the former World Champion repeatedly failed to bring back Nana’s robes to him.
