AEW Star Undergoing Surgery

AEW Star Undergoing Surgery

AEW star Skye Blue is set to undergo surgery soon.

On the July 20th episode of Collision, a match between Blue and Hikaru Shida was stopped following a bad landing by the AEW star that was later confirmed as an ankle injury.

In a follow-up post by Blue’s partner Kyle Fletcher on social media, Blue is seen outside a day surgery centre with her leg in a cast and with crutches. Fletcher has asked the fans to “send prayers and cat toys” as Blue prepares to undergo surgery.

It is unknown at this time how long Blue will be out of action for following the procedure. However, the injury does mean that Blue will not be a part of All In at Wembley Stadium on August 25th.

Top AEW Star Looks Back On Incredibly Painful Injuries

Sidelined with multiple injuries at the end of 2023, MJF made his return to the company at Double or Nothing to take out former best friend Adam Cole, who is also out of action until further notice. Choosing to work through injuries instead of taking time away, MJF was injured further in his Full Gear match against Jay White, which saw the former World Champion land badly multiple times in the match.

Addressing his previous injuries in a recent interview, MJF stated that it was the worst pain that he had ever been in.

Everyone at Inside The Ropes would like to wish Skye Blue a full and speedy recovery.
