AEW star sets the record straight regarding romantic connection with Daniel Garcia.
Several AEW stars were present for MJF and Alicia Atout’s wedding on September 5. Many in attendance complimented the ceremony and wished the couple well in their marriage journey. However, another moment in the wedding that caught fans’ attention was a video between Daniel Garcia and Queen Aminata.
The video saw the AEW stars sitting together for the ceremony, with Daniel saying that Aminata was his date and that they looked lovely together. Many thought this was a confirmation that both stars were dating, but the latter has since clarified on her X (Twitter) that she is only a longtime friend with Garcia.

Queen Aminata Is Not Happy With Daniel Garcia’s Recent Actions On AEW Dynamite
The main event of the September 10, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite was a $500K 10-Man tag team match between The Opps and Brodido against Death Riders and Young Bucks. After a tough back-and-forth, it was the latter team that got the win.
Matt and Nick Jackson were ready to run away with the $500k bag until Brody King and Bandido stopped their tracks. The Death Riders also joined the action later on by attacking The Opps, until Darby Allin arrived. Later on, it was only Darby and Jon Moxley alone in the ring. Just as Allin was about to attack his rival, a hooded figure attacked him from behind, who turned out to be Daniel Garcia.
Daniel Garcia’s heel turn shocked many, including his longtime friend. On X (Twitter), Aminata questioned her friend’s actions and jokingly apologized for “friend-zoning” the former TNT Champion.
