AEW Records New Low On Dynamite Thanksgiving Eve Episode

AEW Dynamite Thanksgiving

AEW Dynamite Thanksgiving Eve episode ratings are out.

Tony Khan’s AEW is currently going through a hard time. Despite exceptional wrestling and interesting storylines on the show, Dynamite is failing to retain audiences and score good ratings.

The latest 27th November episode of AEW Dynamite Thanksgiving Eve has again failed to pull in good ratings and viewership. As per Wrestlenomics, the AEW Thanksgiving Eve edition scored a disappointing 536,000 viewers and fell behind the November 20th episode of 640,000 viewers.

Despite featuring multiple stars such as Chris Jericho, Swerve Strickland, Jon Moxley, Ricochet, Claudio Castagnoli, Adam Cole, Darby Allin, Brody King, Jay White, Adam Page, and many more on the show, it failed to increase its viewership.

However, that was not all. Airing before Thanksgiving night, Dynamite posted a 0.15 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. This marked the show’s lowest demo rating in its history when airing on its normal 8 PM Wednesday slot.

The November 20th episode scored a 0.20 rating in the key 18-49 demo and drew 640,000 viewers, which was also 4% lower than the November 13th episode of 666,000.

The show ranked fourth on cable behind the New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks game on ESPN (0.38 rating and 1,397,000 viewers). North Carolina vs. Michigan State in college basketball on ESPN2 and Gutfeld on Fox News.

An Absent AEW Star Has Provided Injury Update

Currently sidelined and recovering from an injury suffered during her match against Hikaru Shida earlier this year, Skye Blue recently shared an update on it. During her recent appearance with Chicago Wolves color analyst Billy Gardner at the Chicago Wolves game on November 16, she said:

We’re getting there. We’re getting there. It’s hard sitting at home and watching [Kyle Fletcher] go to work and being like, ‘I feel fine, I can walk. I can wrestle, right?’ Then I’m like, ‘Oh, no, I can’t.’ But we’re getting there. I just want to come back fully healthy so I can go crazy and do all my hardcore matches and be 100%,”

Currently, there are no active plans set for Skye Blue’s return.
