AEW Death Riders Member Injured; Replacement Named For Title Match

AEW Death Riders PAC

An integral member of Jon Moxley’s Death Riders has been ruled out with injury.

Earlier this week, during the 9th April episode of Dynamite, former World Champion Swerve Strickland faced off against Trios Champion Pac. Toward the closing stages of the match, Pac was seen tending his ankle/foot, and the match had to be finished swiftly.

Tonight on the 12th April episode of Collision, AEW confirmed that Pac suffered an injury during the Dynamite episode, and will be unable to defend the Trios Championship against The Opps (Samoa Joe, Hook, & Katsuyori Shibata) on Dynamite Spring Break Thru on 16th April.

Death Riders leader Jon Moxley has been named as Pac’s replacement during the title match next week. Moxley will now join Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta next week during the championship bout.

We at Inside The Ropes wish Pac a safe and steady recovery.

A Former AEW Women’s Champion Wants To Run Back Her Debut Match

Making her in-ring return and All Elite Wrestling debut at Full Gear 2022, Saraya faced off against Britt Baker. Wrestling nearly after five years, the match attracted mixed reviews from fans and critics.

Recently, MuscleManMalcolm, in a new interview, Saraya claimed how she wishes to run back that match.

“You know, it was my first match back in like five years. I hadn’t really done enough training in my opinion, like Britt had to carry me big time. I was nervous, my wind wasn’t perfect yet. That’s one thing I wish I could go back and do again for sure, maybe we can run it back one more time. Without Britt — I’m just so thankful for her because she was patient with me, she helped me, she talked to me throughout the whole thing. I felt like a deer in headlights.”
