AEW returns to Las Vegas for Double or Nothing.
As announced via press release, the 6th Double or Nothing pay-per-view will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas on Sunday, May 26th.
On top of the pay-per-view being brought to the Nevada City, the go-home episode of Collision will be held in the same venue on the night before, followed by tapings of Dynamite and Collision in California the following week to present the fallout from the show:
March 27, 2024 – Five years ago, AEW’s inaugural DOUBLE OR NOTHING pay-per-view event in Las Vegas revolutionized the professional wrestling industry, and propelled AEW on its meteoric rise around the world. Today, CEO Tony Khan announced that Las Vegas will once again host the marquee DOUBLE OR NOTHING event on Sunday, May 26, live from MGM Grand Garden Arena.
As part of DOUBLE OR NOTHING weekend, TNT’s “AEW: Collision” will also be held at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday, May 25. In addition, TBS’ “AEW: Dynamite” will emanate from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Wednesday, May 29, followed by a special taping of “AEW: Collision” on Thursday, May 30, at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, Calif.
The arena is the same site where the first-ever Double or Nothing took place back in 2019. The main event of the show saw Chris Jericho defeat Kenny Omega to advance to All Out, where he defeated Adam Page to become the inaugural World Champion for the promotion. The event was also where Jon Moxley made his shock debut after exiting WWE earlier in the year.
Due to the company presenting Dynasty on April 21st, no matches have been announced for Double or Nothing at the time of press release.
AEW Announces New Hire
