Adam Cole Returns At AEW WrestleDream 2024; Reignites Old Feud

AEW Announce New Project Starring Adam Cole & Evil Uno

Adam Cole is finally back in AEW!

Cole was last seen at Double or Nothing 2024 in May, when MJF returned after World’s End and confronted an injured Cole for betraying his trust. Since his absence from earlier this year, Cole finally returned tonight during WrestleDream.

The third match of the night saw Jack Perry defend his TNT Championship against Katsuyori Shibata but later be confronted by Daniel Garcia. As Garcia made the save for Shibata, a returning MJF would then welcome him.

The Salt of the Earth was last seen at All Out during his match against Garcia. The segment progressed with MJF beating down Garcia when fans finally heard Cole’s music hit. A returning Adam Cole made the save, as a pale MJF escaped through the crowd.

Rumored for a long time, Cole has finally recovered and made his way back to the Jacksonville-based promotion.

However, fans can find the story confusing as, back at Double or Nothing, a ‘face’ MJF had confronted a ‘heel’ Adam Cole, whereas the current situation sees the roles reversed.

A Former WWE Star Has Made His Way Into AEW

The Zero-hour show of WrestleDream witnessed the appearance of a former WWE star. MxM Collection had teased their partnership with a third man during their match against The Acclaimed on WrestleDream.

As the show began, the third man was revealed to be former WWE star Rico. However, his addition did not yield much results, as The Acclaimed picked up the victory over the MxM Collection.
