The Wrstling Podcast #14 – Favourite Matches: 20 for ’20

The Wrstling Podcast is back for a new year, with the boys looking to start things off with a bang by presenting their 20 favourite matches from the year 2020.
As with last week’s ‘Happy List’ of top 10 wrestlers, Liam and Gareth have applied their unique (and somewhat loose) criteria, highlighting matches that have stuck in the memory, sparked an emotion or have been just downright brilliant.

This week, the boys are splitting their time between the happenings in DDT, Pro Wrestling NOAH and a very special interview.

Firstly, Liam and Gareth will be discussing DDT Pro Wrestling’s Kawasaki Strong, with a bit of cross-examination with the main event of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Destination show.

Then, in the first of a two part introduction to Japanese joshi promotion Ice Ribbon, the boys are joined by grappler Yappy who takes them through the company’s heritage, its place in the joshi scene and of course, her own experiences in pro wrestling.

Perfect as a ‘jumping on’ point for fans interested in trying Ice Ribbon and hugely insightful for anyone interested in the joshi wrestling scene as a whole.
