NXT Superstar Zoey Stark has some colossal aspirations in the wrestling business as she names her dream opponent and says she would jump at the chance to work with The Tribal Chief’s special counsel, Paul Heyman.
Stark won the first gold of her young WWE career as she and Io Shirai captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship at The Great American Bash. Stark and Shirai faced The Way’s Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell for the gold. As seen on NXT in recent weeks, a battery filled the video screen, now saying it was charged to 100% during the match. The heralded the return of Tegan Nox, who is setting her sights on the woman responsible for her lengthy lay-off, Candice LeRae. The distraction allowed Stark and Shirai to take advantage and win the title in only Starks’ fourteenth match for the company.
Taking part in a Twitter Q and A, Stark answered questions from fans, first revealing her dream opponent, a lady not to be messed with.
Stark said:
“One of my dream matches is to perform with Victoria, that’s always been a dream match of mine.”
Q: #AskZoey if you were able to have a dream title match at WrestleMania against a wwe female legend, who would that opponent be?

Victoria competed in WWE from 2002 until her departure from the company in 2009. During that time Victoria won the WWE Women’s Championship twice, winning the first of those titles at Survivor Series in 2002 from Trish Stratus. After her WWE departure, she joined TNA where she competed as Tara. While in that company, Tara won the Knockouts Championship five times.
Zoey Stark was then asked if there was a manager from the past or today that she would love to accompany her to the ring, Stark aimed high naming everyone’s favourite advocate:
“I would love to work with Paul Heyman at some point in my career. The things that he does with Roman Reigns and the things that he’s done in the past are absolutely amazing, I’m always entertained watching him. I’m a big fan of his.”
Q: @WWENXT@ZoeyStarkWWE#AskZoey If you could have any manager to accompany you to the ring (past or present), who would you want it to be?
