Zicky Dice NWA Contract To Expire In December

According to Fightful, Zicky Dice could be on his way out of the National Wrestling Alliance before the clocks strike midnight on 2020.

It has come to light that the talent’s contract with the NWA is set to expire at the end of the year, allowing him to pursue interest from elsewhere.

In the wake of persistent rumours of heat and disagreements between Dice and NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis, it was reported that the former NWA World Television Champion had asked for his release earlier this year when the company vowed to let go of anyone who didn’t believe in their vision for the future.

Instead of granting Dice his wish as they had done with Royce Isaacs and others, the company decided to exercise a roll-over clause in his contract to keep him as part of the roster for the foreseeable future.

This course of action was believed to be due to the fact that at the time, Dice was still carrying the NWA World Television Championship.

With that obstacle no longer in their way, Zicky Dice lost the belt to The Pope on the October 20 UWN Primetime Live, the somewhat messy situation should be able to be cleared up without incident and there seems to be no problem with the talent departing at the end of the year when his contract expires.

NWA could always grant him his release before then.
