One of the most popular stars in WWE’s Judgment Day has opened up about a career change.
A part of the roster for nearly a decade now, Finn Balor started his journey in NXT before jumping ranks and moving to the main roster. Defeating Seth Rollins, Balor crowned himself the inaugural Universal Champion, and later went on to win several other titles throughout his career.
However, since joining Judgment Day a couple of years ago, Balor’s winning record has taken a toll. Lately, several WWE stars have shown an active interest in pursuing careers in Hollywood, including Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, and even Jade Cargill.
Recently, when a fan on X(Twitter) asked Balor about pursuing a similar interest, he provided a direct answer.
“Zero interest.”
Balor is currently a part of The Judgment Day and has been experiencing a tense relationship with the faction’s two other members, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. While fans expect the duo to clash later, nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
An ECW Legend Was Once Critical Of WWE’s Finn Balor And AEW’s Will Ospreay
Last year, during an interview with Covalent, the late legendary wrestler Sabu shared his thoughts on modern-day stars Finn Balor and AEW’s Will Ospreay.
“Finn Balor, but then they programmed him to be one of them. Nothing against it. Nothing personal. But he’s not the same. I could see when things didn’t go right, it didn’t bother him. Same with me. When things didn’t go right, that was my best stuff,”
“I like Will Ospreay, I just don’t like watching him. He’s a great worker and a good gymnast and all that stuff, but … his stuff is too choreographed. Backflip over the ropes all the time, that’s all gymnast stuff. It’s okay. But as a regular thing, no. Would I want to watch that? No, I’d want to see a wrestler [grapple].”
