Bianca Belair has become the latest superstar to draw Paul Heyman’s eye, with Roman Reigns’ special counsel recently dubbing her “the future of the women’s division”.
Belair appeared as a guest on the latest episode of Talking Smack, co-hosted by Heyman alongside Kayla Braxton, to discuss her recent confrontation with Bayley on SmackDown. Whilst she was present on the show, the former advocate took the chance to express his vast feelings of admiration towards ‘The EST of WWE’ in regards to her athleticism and credibility:
“I would be remiss if I don’t also let Bianca know, and I think she knows this quite well, You’re the future of the women’s division and [future is] a word that is thrown around here a lot, but you are. You are an athlete with amazing credentials. You bring those credentials and that credibility to WWE.”
Heyman went on to say that his feelings about Belair are the same as those he has for the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits – one half of whom is Montez Ford, Belair’s real-life husband:
“What you do is truly worthy of the tagline ‘the EST of WWE.’ I am in awe of the magnitude of your talent. You know, my feelings about The Street Profits. Those same feelings of admiration are bestowed upon you as well and I think that you know that.”
Bianca Belair has found great success since being drafted to SmackDown last month. Currently, ‘The EST of WWE’ is undefeated in singles action and was the last to be eliminated from Team SmackDown at Survivor Series. Belair’s undefeated streak may now be in jeopardy, however, as she turns her attention to the longest-reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion in history – Bayley.
