Young Rock Renewed For Season 3 By NBC

Young Rock Dwayne Johnson

As far as Young Rock goes, NBC has turned into Depeche Mode as they just can’t get enough, renewing the show for a third season.

Young Rock is NBC’s sitcom produced in part by The Rock’s Seven Bucks Productions and WWE which tells the life story of how The Great One came to be. Many stars of wrestling’s past have been portrayed in the series so far with AEW star Colt Cabana recently starring as The Rock’s first opponent, The Brooklyn Brawler.

Now Variety has reported that the series which is currently in the middle of its season two run on NBC has been renewed for a third season by the network.

The second season of Young Rock will finish up on the 24th of May with the season finale entitled “Let the people decide” which might indicate that it will cover The Rock turning his back on the people after they famously turned their back on Rocky Maivia.

The new season of the hit show is something else to add to an already packed schedule for The Rock as he is set to star in DC League of Super Pets and Black Adam as well as being attached to upcoming projects such as Red One, The King, San Andreas 2, Doc Savage, and Big Trouble in Little China.
