The Elite reportedly took a vote on whether to stay with AEW or jump ship to WWE.
After a series of intense negotiations, it was officially announced on August 2nd that The Elite had signed new contracts with AEW. In the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer shared that all four members of the faction had agreed to stick together, with their destination being determined by a majority vote. Meltzer wrote:
All four had made a pact to stick together and had been going back-and-forth between WWE and AEW for months about where to end up. They had all agreed at the start that the majority vote would be what they would all adhere to regarding where and when to sign.
Throughout the negotiation process, opinions and votes within the group reportedly fluctuated. However, in the end, all four members, including Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks Matt and Nick Jackson and Hangman Adam Page, ultimately chose to remain with AEW with a key factor being the favourable schedule.
Votes changed at times during the discussions based on the emotions of the time, but ultimately all agreed the key, with the strong AEW offer, was to accept the offer made at this point with the other key factor being the AEW schedule.
While the exact details of their contracts, such as the length, remain unconfirmed, there have been speculations that they signed four-year deals as more details of The Elite re-signing with AEW are being revealed.

Will The Elite Be At AEW All In?
With less than four weeks until the highly anticipated AEW All In event at Wembley Stadium, the specific matchups for The Elite are still uncertain. The group recently concluded a lengthy feud against the Blackpool Combat Club and the August 2nd episode of AEW Dynamite didn’t provide clear hints about their next rivalries.
However, it was hinted that fans can expect to see The Elite in action on AEW Collision soon, alongside their regular appearances on Dynamite.
