Special Counsel to the WWE Universal Champion, Paul Heyman, has orated his belief that Bianca Belair will leave WrestleMania 37 as champion.
On January 31, 2021, Bianca Belair won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match earning herself a shot at the champion of her choosing on ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’ While she has yet to choose either WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks or WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Asuka, Paul Heyman doesn’t think it matters because the result is a foregone conclusion.
Appearing alongside ‘The EST’ on Talking Smack, co-host Heyman opined that in his opinion there is no one in Belair’s league on the current WWE roster and there’s only one outcome when the company finally reach Raymond James Stadium in April:
“You are the B-E-S-T of WWE. To me, it doesn’t matter which champion you step into the ring [with]. You will go on the day of WrestleMania to the biggest event of the year as a challenger. You will leave WrestleMania as a champion. That’s not a prediction: that’s a spoiler.
And then, you will have a chance, at such a young age, to craft out not only a legacy, but what will be looked back on many years from now — decades from now — the legend of Bianca Belair. There is no one in your league right now. No one.”
On the February 5 Friday Night SmackDown, Belair took her first step towards choosing an opponent when she confronted Sasha Banks as throne in the side of ‘The Boss’, Carmella.
While WWE are currently teasing a mystery as to which champion the talent will pick, it is widely believed that she will choose Banks in what promises to be a match of the year contender.
