Xavier Woods has been crowned King of the Ring after pinning Finn Balor at WWE Crown Jewel. All hail King Woods!
During the fast paced contest neither man took a backward step as they threw everything at each other. Woods initially looked to have the match won at halfway hitting a huge Superplex on Balor, but The Prince came fighting back. First with a Slingblade before attempting the Coup de grace.
Not to be outdone, Woods launched his own comeback with an Enziguri and a Gut-buster eventually claiming the win after his trademark Springboard Elbow.
Walking to the ring, Woods said that he was about to be crowned King and so it proved. After the match he headed back up the ramp to claim his newly won crown as fireworks went off around the stadium.

Heading into the tournament Xavier Woods made no secret of his desire to become King of the Ring. Posting on social media ahead of his first round clash, Woods revealed that the tournament was the reason that he got into the wrestling business, adding that he was made for the tournament.
After promising to emerge victorious as King Woods, The New Day star did just that despite some strong competition. Woods squeezed passed Ricochet in the opening round after a thrilling high-flying contest, before grinding out a win against Jinder Mahal to book his place in the final.
Despite huge success as a tag team wrestler, the victory marks Woods’ first significant win as a singles star in WWE.
