Xavier Woods had shared a photo of himself wearing a Brock Lesnar t-shirt and jokes that he burned the shirt after one of ‘The Beast Incarnate’s’ more controversial wins.
Woods took to social media to share the photograph that appears to be from several years ago. The shirt itself was available during Lesnar’s first WWE run that lasted for two years between 2002 and 2004.
Accompanying the photo, Xavier Woods added the caption:
“I burned this shirt on October 4th, 2019”

For any fan of The New Day or Kofi Kingston that is a date that will live in infamy. On the 20th Anniversary edition of SmackDown and the first time the blue brand appeared on Fox. Brock Lesnar challenged Kingston for his WWE Championship. The match consisted of one F5 before Lesnar pinned the champion for the victory. All told the match officially lasted seven seconds.
Kingston had won the title months previously while riding a wave of ‘Kofi-Mania’ all the way to WrestleMania where he defeated Daniel Bryan. His New Day partners Woods and Big E presented Kingston with the new WWE Championship belt. Replacing Bryan’s eco-friendly version of the title.
After his dominant victory, Brock Lesnar held the WWE Championship for six months in his fifth reign as champion. He would go on to lose the title to Drew McIntyre in the main event of WrestleMania 36.
Kofi Kingston has predominantly returned to tag team wrestling following his title success. He and Xavier Woods were recently Raw Tag Team Champions. The duo lost the titles at WrestleMania 37 to AJ Styles and an extremely dominant Omos.
