X Sign Shown During WWE Show; Star Seems Seriously Injured

A referee threw the X sign during a WWE show.

A serious development went down during a WWE show as the X sign was signalled after a certain wrestler got seriously hurt.

Lucha Libre AAA recently held the Alianzas 2025 tour in Monterrey, and one of the featured matches there was for the AAA World Tag Team Championships. Pagano and Psycho Clown put their titles on the line against Los Garza (Angel and Berto) and Laredo Kid and Octagon Jr. (who is being played by Golden Magic, the third wrestler to portray the persona).

The defending champions retained the belts, but the AAA referee signalled the X sign to indicate a medical attention was immediately needed. It was Octagon Jr. who was defenseless and was being checked by his partner, Laredo Kid.

Afterward, the medical personnel arrived and placed the superstar in a stretcher while Pagano and Psycho Clown were still celebrating their successful title defense. Eventually, Pagano took a look at the 35-year-old, who received chants from the Monterrey crowd while being prepared to get carried out of the ring.

It was revealed that Octagon Jr. left Alianzas 2025 with a neck injury. There are no further updates to the severity of the injury as of this writing.

ITR Wrestling would like to wish Octagon Jr. a speedy recovery.

WWE Superstars El Grande Americano and Dominik Mysterio Appeared at Alianzas 2025

Coming off their AAA Mega Championship match at TripleMania XXXIII, WWE Superstar El Grande Americano and current AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo met in the ring. Both men exchanged tirades with one another in Spanish.

Suddenly, Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio appeared in a video and sent a message to the 28-year-old champion. Dirty Dom will challenge El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship at Worlds Collide as he attempts to become a dual champion.

The pay-per-view will take place on September 12, 2025, at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
