The Wyatt Sicks have picked up their first WWE title thanks to a controversial finish.
Tonight’s episode of SmackDown saw the Wyatt Sicks pick up their first major title. Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy teamed up to dethrone The Street Profits and become the new WWE Tag Team Champions.
Their win, however, was far from clean. The Street Profits were seemingly in control, as a Frog Splash from Montez Ford towards the end of the match looked like it could deliver victory. However, in what was a controversial moment, Erick Rowan interfered while the referee was distracted and dragged Ford out of the ring.
What followed was chaotic. Angelo Dawkins took out Rowan, and Gacy tried to stop Ford from hitting another Frog Splash. All this gave Lumis enough time to recover, which led to him and Gacy hitting their finisher, pinning Ford, and becoming champions.

It was a huge win for Wyatt Sicks, and one that has turned the tag team division upside down. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
DIY was irate after the Wyatt Sicks won the titles
The Wyatt Sicks’ victory was huge. The entire group celebrated the victory, but not everyone was happy for them. Backstage, the entire tag team division was discussing the title change.
While the Motor City Machine Guns and Fraxiom seemed to accept the change, DIY did not. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano were upset and looked absolutely mortified by the results of the match. They clearly are not happy with the Wyatts at the top.
