The unfathomable happened at WrestleMania 41 — Paul Heyman turned on Roman Reigns after five years of working closely.
Reigns acknowledged Heyman during the veteran’s WWE Hall of Fame induction last year, stating that without The Wiseman, there is no Tribal Chief. The depth of this killer angle is yet to be explored as Reigns disappeared following the RAW After Mania in April.
Roman Reigns Will Be Back to Resume WWE Rivalry With Paul Heyman
There seems to be curiosity among the wrestling fanbase as The Bloodline Saga is an integral part of The Tribal Chief persona. It commenced in 2021, with Reigns and Heyman being the masterminds behind it.
On Friday Night SmackDown, Solo Sikoa has introduced a new rendition of The Bloodline, featuring mostly Tongan wrestlers. Sikoa booted out Jacob Fatu recently, who is now by default the babyface in the equation. With Jimmy Uso on Fatu’s side, the potential for Jey Uso and The Tribal Chief to come for The Samoan Werewolf’s aid has been the talk of wrestling town. However, WrestleVotes has reported that this is not what WWE creative has in mind.
On the “WrestleVotes Q&A” podcast, WrestleVotes noted that Reigns and Heyman’s storyline will take centerstage upon The Tribal Chief’s return to WWE. The Wiseman has already begun working on his next pet project — a new faction consisting of Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed with Seth Rollins leading the pack.
“Just because the numbers look right, you know, Jimmy, Jey, Roman and Jacob Fatu, four on four, but I think he’s gonna go, like I said last week, towards Rollins. I think he’s got the payback, so I’m not sure he jumps back into this Bloodline story. Although, the numbers are there, like they’re saying in a potential four on four match, but I just don’t seem him going back to Bloodline business right now. I think he’s gonna focus on Paul Heyman,” WrestleVotes noted on the podcast.
It remains to be seen where things go from here as WWE creative has a busy month ahead of them. Within the next month, the sports entertainment capital will produce Saturday Night’s Main Event XL, Evolution 2, and SummerSlam.
