WWE’s Internal Ranking Of SmackDown’s Women’s Division Leaked

Asuka & Bianca Belair on WWE SmackDown

Across April 28th and May 1st, WWE’s rosters underwent a shake-up as part of the Draft.

In the lead-up to WrestleMania 39, Raw and SmackDown had essentially merged with roster split not being enforced. However, with the last Draft taking place in October 2021, the company decided that after the spectacular, a freshen-up was required.

The Draft saw Roman Reigns stay on SmackDown, the creation of a new World Heavyweight Championship on Raw, Intercontinental Champion Gunther and United States Champion Austin Theory swap brands, with Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair doing the same. However, the moves of Belair and Ripley have caused confusion given that Ripley is on Raw as SmackDown Women’s Champion and Belair is on SmackDown despite holding the Raw Title.

With regard to the SmackDown women’s roster, a new report from PWInsider Elite has revealed WWE’s internal breakdown of babyfaces and heels.

Interestingly, Charlotte Flair is still listed as a babyface, despite many expecting her to turn heel when she returns to action. While Aliyah appears on the list despite not appearing on WWE programming in months. The list also confirms that Asuka is now considered a heel following her mist attack on Bianca Belair.

BABYFACES

  • Bianca Belair – Raw Womens Champion

  • Aliyah

Asuka Ruins Bianca Belair’s WWE Celebration

On the May 12th episode of SmackDown, WWE held a championship celebration for Bianca Belair as she became the longest-reigning Women’s Champion of the modern era. However, Asuka was on hand to spoil the party. The Japanese star interrupted Belair before she even had a chance to speak, spitting her trademark mist into the champion’s face.
