WWE “Zero” Vignette Teases Arrival Of Ex-AEW Star, When Will They Debut?

WWE

A video seen on the latest episode of WWE Raw hyped up the arrival of a wrestler that AEW fans are very familiar with.

On the December 16th episode of Raw, a vignette aired that flashed up a zero with a line through it on screen, teasing the arrival of a new addition to the roster.

Given his current contract status and ring name, many suspected that the video was to signal the arrival of former AEW Tag Team Champion Penta El Zero Miedo, who recently became a free agent after his AEW contract expired. As reported by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the fan theories are indeed correct as many within the company believe that Penta is on his way to WWE.

The former Tag Team Champion recently made an appearance at AAA after becoming a free agent, with many believing this to be a farewell segment before he joins WWE. In terms of when fans can expect to see Penta on Raw, Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the debut looks set for the already stacked Raw on Netflix debut on January 6th:

Penta is coming soon, yeah, on the 6th [of January] I believe. Because this immediately kind of merged into a Netflix commercial. So I think he’s debuting on that show.

When Will Rey Fenix Join Penta In WWE?

Back in the summer, news broke that Penta and Rey Fenix, collectively known as The Lucha Bros, were set to depart AEW when their contracts expired and join WWE straight onto the main roster. However, while Penta was able to see his contract out and become a free agent, Rey Fenix has had injury time added onto his contract which could last until late 2025.

In a series of since deleted social media posts, Rey Fenix publicly expressed his frustrations at the situation.
