WWE Wrestlepalooza is the first premium live event to ever stream on ESPN, on September 20, 2025. It is a star-studded pay-per-view event, with a lot of exciting match-ups confirmed, including the last match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar, and many more. A look at the official match card:
John Cena and Brock Lesnar have met six times across WWE’s biggest stages. Lesnar leads their rivalry 4–2, with 2014 Night of Champions being the last installment in this rivalry. Cena earned his two victories by surviving Lesnar’s onslaught and using his strength and grit to rally back. Both legends have written some of the most memorable chapters in WWE history, making this final clash at Wrestlepalooza truly special.
A major women’s title match will crown a new Women’s World Champion. IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer have built momentum and proved themselves as the top contenders for the title. SKY was the champion since RAW after Elimination Chamber but lost it at Evolution, thanks to Naomi’s cash-in, while Vaquer earned her shot by winning a high-stakes Battle Royal.
Initially, Vaquer was set to face Naomi for the title at Clash in Paris, but the champion had to step down due to her pregnancy. This led to the postponement of the match and the involvement of SKY.
In a major mixed tag match, CM Punk and AJ Lee team up to face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Punk’s loss of the World Heavyweight Title to Rollins and Lynch’s interference at Clash in Paris have fueled this grudge. Lee makes her first in-ring appearance in over a decade, seeking retribution for Lynch’s attack on Punk on SmackDown and RAW.
Even though tag team titles are not at stake, pride most definitely is. The Usos reunite for the first time since March 2025 against the Brons of the Vision, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. This duo has dominated weekly shows, standing tall at the end of most RAW episodes. The Usos will test their teamwork and try to prove why they are the best tag team of the entire roster.

This PLE marks the only appearance of Cena on the ESPN network, along with his final match against the Beast. The title match and the tag team matches blend championship stakes and fresh matchups. The Usos aim to regain momentum and shut down the Vision, whereas Punk and Lee want to settle scores with Rollins and Lynch in a deeply personal tag encounter.
