The results from WrestleMania 37 Night 1 were as follows:

  • Bobby Lashley defeated Drew McIntyre via Submission to retain the WWE Championship (18:20)
  • Tamina & Natalya won the Tag Team Turmoil match via Pinfall to challenge Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler on Night 2 (14:15)
  • Cesaro defeated Seth Rollins via Pinfall (11:35)
  • AJ Styles & Omos defeated The New Day via Pinfall to win the RAW Tag Team Championship (9:45)
  • Braun Strowman defeated Shane McMahon via Pinfall (11:25)
  • Bad Bunny & Damian Priest defeated The Miz & John Morrison via Pinfall (15:05)
  • Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks via Pinfall to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship (17:15)

Vince McMahon Opens The Show, A Weather Delay Pauses The Show

  • Vince says there’s been something missing the last year: The fans. He thanks the fans for attending and welcomes them to WrestleMania. Bebe Rexha sings America The Beautiful with the entire roster on the stage.
  • Just after the opening video package, a weather delay forces fans to evacuate the seating area for cover. Various impromptu interviews take place to fill the time.
  • Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil make their way onto the stage. Both hype up the crowd and introduce our opening match, the WWE Championship bout between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns.

Bobby Lashley vs Drew McIntyre – WWE Championship Match

  • Neither man takes control early on but McIntyre eventually clotheslines Lashley to the outside. Lashley throws McIntyre into the barricade to gain control before whipping him back inside. Lashley hits a neckbreaker for a one-count before continuing to focus on McIntyre’s midsection with a series of shoulder tackles.
  • McIntyre regains control with multiple clotheslines and belly-to-belly suplexes. He goes to set-up the Future Shock DDT but Lashley drives McIntyre into the corner to counter it. Lashley hits the Dominator for a 2-count before attempting a stalling suplex but Drew fights out but Lashley counters into a spinebuster for another near-fall.
  • Lashley locks in the Hurt Lock but Drew fights out. Drew hits a reverse Alabama Slam for a near-fall of his own. Drew goes for a Claymore but Lashley counters into a spinebuster once again. Drew manages to counter a spear attempt into a Future Shock DDT and hits two more but Lashley kicks out.
  • Drew goes for the Claymore but MVP pulls Lashley out to save him but Drew hits a tope con hilo to take both men down.
  • Drew goes for a double axe handle but Lashley counters into the Hurt Lock which he transitions into several t-bone suplexes. He locks in the Hurt Lock again but McIntyre fights out by driving Lashley into the top turnbuckle. Lashley tries to counter the Claymore into a spinebuster again but McIntyre transitions into a Kimura.
  • Lashley escapes via rope break and the two get into a slugfest. McIntyre sets up the Claymore but MVP distracts him, allowing Lashley to dodge. Lashley locks in the Hurt Lock and McIntyre tries to roll out but Lashley keeps it locked in. Drew passes out and Lashley retains.

Winner: Bobby Lashley via Submission, winning the WWE Championship in 18:20

Lana & Naomi vs Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose vs The Riott Squad vs Natalya & Tamina vs Carmella & Billie Kay – Tag Team Turmoil Match To Challenge For The Women’s Tag Team Championship On Night 2

  • Naomi & Lana and Carmella & Billie Kay start the match out. Naomi & Lana maintain control throughout, hitting a double facebuster on Billie but Carmella breaks up the pinfall. Billie and Carmella pin Naomi with a roll-up. The Riott Squad come out next.
  • Billie and Carmella work over Liv, hitting a german suplex into a superkick for a two-count. They try the same roll-up manoeuvre they used to eliminate Naomi & Lana but the ref catches them. The Riott Squad hit a gutbuster/senton bomb combination to eliminate Billie & Carmella and Carmella attacks them both with superkicks.
  • Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke come out next. Dana hits a blockbuster but Liv breaks up the pinfall. Liv hits a facebuster on Mandy but she kicks out at 2. Ruby hits a Riott Kick on Mandy but Dana breaks up the pinfall.
  • Mandy hits a superplex on Liv from the top as Dana tags in and hits a swanton bomb but Ruby pulls Dana out. Liv counters into a roll-up and eliminates Mandy & Dana. Natalya & Tamina enter next. Liv gets a 2-count off a roll-up but Natalya breaks out.
  • Natalya hits a powerbomb but Ruby breaks up the pinfall. Natalya & Tamina dominate over Liv who counters a samoan drop into a tag to Ruby. They hit the gutbuster/senton bomb combination on Tamina but she kicks out at 2.
  • Tamina and Natalya hit the Hart Attack before Tamina goes for a superfly splash and wins.

Winner: Tamina & Natalya via Pinfall in 14:15

Seth Rollins vs Cesaro

  • Cesaro hits a swiss uppercut straight off the bell and tries to lock in the Swing but Rollins fights out. Cesaro hits a corkscrew springboard uppercut before Rollins escapes to the apron where Rollins wrenches his arm. Cesaro tries to hit a gutwrench suplex from the top rope but Rollins counters into a buckle bomb for a 2-count.
  • Rollins regains control with a top rope superplex into a falcon arrow for a near-fall. Cesaro goes for The Wing but Rollins counters into a roll-up for a two-count. Cesaro does 10 rotations of The Swing and locks in the Sharpshooter but Rollins quickly breaks it via rope break.
  • Cesaro goes for the Neutraliser but Rollins flips out and hits the springboard glancing knee followed up by the sling blade. Rollins hits a corkscrew splash for a two count and attempts the ripcord knee but Cesaro counters into the Neutraliser for a near-fall.
  • Rollins hits the Pedigree but Cesaro kicks out. Rollins hits a Death By Elbow into Black Magic before setting up The Swing but Cesaro counters into an uppercut. Cesaro spins Rollins in the UFO before following up with 23 rotations of The Swing before hitting the Neutraliser to pick up the win.

Winner: Cesaro via Pinfall in 11:35

The New Day vs AJ Styles & Omos – RAW Tag Team Championship Match

  • AJ and Kofi start the match off with both men getting near-fall early via roll-up. Kofi hits a dropkick on AJ for a one-count before hitting the unicorn stomp which nets Xavier a two-count. Kofi continually blocks AJ from making a tag to Omos but AJ runs round the ring to get around him but Xavier cuts him off.
  • Kofi hits a standing double stomp for a two-count followed up by a springboard frog splash for yet another near-fall. Omos eventually tags in and Xavier tries to dropkick him but Omos no-sells it. Kofi tags in and tries for a diving chop but Omos catches him.
  • Omos dominates over Kofi and Xavier. AJ hits a Phenomenal Forearm off Omos’ shoulder to knock Xavier out the ring before Omos hits a spinebuster on Kofi to pick up the win.

Winner: AJ Styles & Omos win via Pinfall, winning the RAW Tag Team Championship in 9:45

Shane McMahon vs Braun Strowman – Steel Cage Match

  • Lawler joins commentary for the match. Elias and Ryker attack Braun with steel chairs before he can enter the cage. Shane attacks Braun with a steel chair as the match begins but Braun eventually catches the chair and grabs it from Shane. Braun dominates but Shane eventually evens the odds by driving Braun’s head into the wall.
  • Shane hits Coast To Coast before attempting to escape with the help of Elias and Ryker but Strowman pushes all 3 men off the wall down to their respective sides. Shane climbs up again and wacks Strowman with a toolbox that was suspended at the top of the cage.
  • As he climbs over the wall, Strowman rips it open and drags him back through. Strowman brings Shane to the top of the cage before throwing him off into the ring and climbing back in himself. Braun hits a running powerslam and picks up the pinfall win.

Winner: Braun Strowman via Pinfall in 11:25

Damian Priest & Bad Bunny vs The Miz & John Morrison

  • Booker T joins commentary for the match. Bad Bunny tags in from the get-go against The Miz and hits Miz with a jab who follows up with a second. Miz eventually takes control with a series of his own strikes but Bad Bunny counters with an arm drag to whip Miz to the outside.
  • Bad Bunny gets a two-count with a roll-up before following up with a hurricanrana. Morrison tags in and eventually regains control after Miz attacks Bunny from the apron. The two work over Bunny as he attempts to get the hot tag to Damian.
  • Miz kicks Bad Bunny to the outside before Morrison follows up by slamming his head into the announce desk. Bunny hits a tornado DDT to take down Miz and tags in Priest. He takes down both Miz & Morrison, hitting a chokeslam on Miz for a near-fall.
  • Priest & Bunny hit stereo falcon arrows followed up by a tope con hilo from PRiest and a top rope splash from Bunny. Priest goes for The Reckoning but Miz counters into the Skull-Crushing Finale. Bad Bunny breaks up the pinfall and Priest goes to tag in Bad Bunny but Morrison knocks him off.
  • Bad Bunny hits a Canadian Destroyer on Morrison before hitting an electric chair/crossbody combination to pick up the win.

Winner: Damian Priest & Bad Bunny via Pinfall in 15:05

Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair – SmackDown Women’s Championship Match

  • Neither woman gains the advantage early on, both countering each others’ offence before Sasha drives Belair into the ring post. Banks goes for a tope suicida but Bianca rolls through into a gorilla press back into the ring. Belair goes handspring moonsault but Sasha counters by grabbing Belair’s braid, allowing her to regain control.
  • Sasha goes for her rope-assited double knees but Belair counters into a driver. Banks tries to pull at Belair’s braid again but Bianca pulls her into the ringpost. Sasha goes for a double knees into the barricade but Belair dodges and both get back into the ring at the 6-count.
  • Belair maintains a stalling suplex for around 40 seconds and starts a comeback with various strikes. She hits a standing shooting star press and tries for a 450 Splash but Sasha gets her knees up. Sasha goes for a hurricanrana but Belair counters into a double sitting powerbomb. Belair goes for a third but Sasha counters into a facebuster.
  • Sasha starts becoming more aggressive, throwing Bianca into the steel steps before locking in a Bank Statement assisted by Belair’s braid which Belair breaks via rope break. Belair and Bianca go to the top rope and Sasha attempts a double knee strike of the top but Bianca dodges.
  • She attempts another but Belair dodges again, driving Sasha’s knees right into the bottom turnbuckle. Belair hits a 450 splash but Sasha kicks out. Bianca goes for the KOD but Sasha fights out. Bianca whips Sasha with her hair and hits the KOD to pick up the win.

Winner: Bianca Belair via Pinfall, winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship in 17:15
