A huge WWE title match has been announced for SummerSlam 2025.
In three weeks, WWE is set to host its first-ever two-night SummerSlam PLE on 2nd and 3rd August at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Although WWE announced several matches for the upcoming PLE, tonight’s July 14th episode of Raw added another match. As Naomi confirmed her move to Raw and continued to hype her newly won title, fans witnessed a surprising interference from Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. Ripley and Sky would continue to inflict their rematch right before Raw general manager Adam Pearce interfered.
Interrupting all three ladies, Adam Pearce started his promo by praising Ripley and Sky’s Evolution 2 main-event match before officially announcing Naomi’s title defence. According to Pearce, in around three weeks, Naomi is scheduled to defend her Women’s world title against Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.
It is currently to be confirmed the exact day of Naomi’s title defense.
