A WWE Raw star is set to remain with the company following significant speculation regarding their future.
With Becky Lynch choosing to let her contract expire to take an “extended leave” and Ricochet informing the company that he would also be leaving, nothing is guaranteed as talent continues to negotiate their contracts. On June 7th, Raw star Chad Gable’s contract expired and it had been previously reported that the former Tag Team Champion had not signed a new deal. In addition to this, Gable has been announced for a major match at Clash at the Castle on June 15th as he will challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship.
While it has been previously reported that Gable was expected to re-sign, no more information was provided at the time. According to a new update by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there is a belief within WWE that Gable is “extremely close” to signing a new deal or a new agreement has been reached. It is also added that while there is no confirmation, those within the company are working under the assumption that he will re-sign as opposed to halting creative plans until talks progress.

As previously mentioned, Ricochet has elected to not sign a new and is looking to explore free agency, which has proved to be a rare move among members of the WWE roster in 2024. According to the latest update, plans are in place for Ricochet’s final appearance, including the date.
