A respected WWE veteran is unsure about Charlotte Flair’s wrestling future.
Earlier this year at the 2025 Royal Rumble, Charlotte Flair made her much-awaited return and won the event. She later went on to face Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 41, in a losing effort. While Flair is one of the most respected names in the industry, WWE veteran Dutch Mantell believes the Mania 41 loss and the lead-up to it hurt her momentum.
While Stratton and Flair had a very slow buildup to their WrestleMania 41 feud, the stakes went high as soon as both women engaged in an unscripted promo battle on SmackDown. Recently, on Story Time With Dutch Mantell, the veteran questioned the promotion’s decision not to book Flair on a stronger note. Addressing her recent loss against Stratton, Mantell expressed his concerns over The Queen’s future.
“I think she [Charlotte Flair] is just lost. I mean, when she came back, she didn’t dominate when she went up against Tiffany Stratton. Their match wasn’t that good, and they had that problem when they went out there and started shooting at each other. I mean, I’m lost with that.”
“I think they should’ve kept her a little stronger, and then as they moved on, and I don’t know how much longer she’s got in the business. I mean, appearing as a regular, but I think they should’ve made her a little stronger and then have somebody take her down, take her off, and advance that talent like that, and then let Charlotte fade away.”

On the recent 23rd May episode of SmackDown, Flair again suffered a loss during a triple threat when Giulia pinned Zelina Vega to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match. The former World Champion is now expected to be in a feud against Alexa Bliss.
