WWE Veteran Returns After 5-Years On NXT Vengeance Day

WWE Main Roster Stars Set For Title Matches At NXT Vengeance Day

A celebrated WWE veteran is back!

The 15th February Vengeance Day PLE started and concluded on an extremely high note. In the opening match of the night, Stephanie Vaquer created history as she defeated Fallon Henley to win the women’s North American title.

Later, Fraxiom retained their tag titles against Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura. Both Oba Femi and Giulia retained their Championships in the closing stages of the show. However, it was a return that left the fans shocked.

During a backstage segment, general manager Ava Raine was captured promoting the upcoming Roadblock special on March 11th from The Theater at Madison Square Garden. However, Ava Raine was soon interrupted by Arianna Grace, who then introduced her father, Santino Marella, the director of authority at TNA Wrestling.

Making his much-awaited return to the promotion after 5-years, Marella appeared as a TNA representative. Both WWE and TNA stars have often been appearing on each other’s shows due to the ongoing partnership between the two promotions. Marella and Raine then walked away to discuss “ideas” ahead of the Roadblock special, possibly teasing an inter-promotional segment at the upcoming show.

Marella was last seen 5-years ago at the 2020 Royal Rumble where she appeared as Santina Marella. Never been a regular part of NXT, Marella competed only once on the brand during a 2013 tag-team contest.

Elsewhere, a brand new faction made a huge impact in their debut at NXT Vengeance Day.
