Former WWE Star Josh Mathews Debuts at AEW All In Texas
At the AEW All In Texas Zero Hour pre-show, Josh Mathews finally made his on-screen debut for Tony Khan’s wrestling promotion. He had reportedly been with the Jacksonville-based company since May, having already started work as a backstage producer.
Mathews was introduced by Renee Paquette during the pre-show, as she, Paul Wight, Jeff Jarrett, and RJ City were previewing the card. He spoke about the match card before providing an introduction to a previously recorded interview of himself, Will Ospreay, and Swerve Strickland.
Ospreay & Strickland will face The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson) at AEW All In. If they lose, they won’t be able to challenge for the AEW World Title for a whole year. However, if they win, The Bucks will no longer be the EVPs of AEW.

Mathews will be contributing predominantly to Ring of Honor (ROH). While being interviewed by former WWE star Maven recently, he said, “Right now, shadowing Mike Mansury. So, I’ll do the Ring of Honor matches before. Then I’ll sit and watch Collision. Then I’ll do the Ring of Honor matches after,” confirming his new role in AEW.
