WWE Veteran Joins Corey Graves and JBL For Commentary Duties at Worlds Collide

WWE veteran brings his wrestling expertise to WWE x AAA Worlds Collide as he joins Corey Graves and JBL on the commentary table.

Wrestling legend Konnan made his mark on the announce team for Worlds Collide on September 12, 2025, in Las Vegas. The veteran wrestler joined Corey Graves and JBL at the commentary desk for the WWE and AAA partnership event. Konnan brought years of wrestling experience to the three-man booth. He worked alongside Corey Graves and John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield to call the action from Cox Pavilion at Thomas & Mack Center in Paradise, Nevada.

Graves served as the lead announcer for the Las Vegas event. JBL brought his Hall of Fame credentials to the team. Konnan rounded out the booth with his years of experience in Mexican wrestling promotions.

Who is the AAA Hall of Famer and WWE Veteran Konnan?

Konnan has been part of major wrestling moments throughout his career. He won titles in WCW and worked with some of the biggest names in the business. His nWo membership put him at the center of wrestling’s hottest storyline in the late 1990s.

His wrestling career spans over three decades across different promotions. Konnan worked for WCW, WWE, TNA Wrestling, and AAA throughout his time in the ring. He retired from active competition in 2013 but stayed involved in the wrestling business behind the scenes.

WWE’s recent purchase of AAA opened new doors for Konnan. He now serves as part of AAA’s creative team and has taken on commentary roles for their major events. His first big commentary assignment came at the June 2025 Worlds Collide event alongside Corey Graves.

The Cuban-born wrestler has deep roots in both American and Mexican wrestling. Konnan won the WCW United States Championship in 1996 and later joined the famous nWo faction as “K-Dogg.”
