It has been reported that former WWE wrestler Sara Lee’s death has been ruled as suicide.

Sara Lee was the co-winner of WWE Tough Enough alongside Josh Bredl in 2015. She adopted the ring name of Hope throughout her Tough Enough journey and was assigned to the WWE Performance Center in September 2015. It was here that she reverted to using her real name.

Lee married former WWE Superstar Wesley Blake in December 2017, with the couple having three young children together.

It has been reported by TMZ, who claims to have obtained a copy of Lee’s autopsy report, that the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office states her death came by suicide. Additionally, it was reported that the star left “letters of intent” at the scene, while she is said to have ingested a lethal dose of alcohol and pills.

According to the documents, Lee also had bruises and abrasions on her body at the time of her death. However, these are believed to have been the result of a fall, or falls, while intoxicated.

Following her untimely death, a number of WWE Superstars paid tribute to Lee, with Bayley writing her name on her ring gear for her match at Extreme Rules.
