WWE To Make “Outstanding Offer” To Former AEW Champion

US City Seeking Multi-Million Deal With WWE & UFC To Host Future Events

WWE is reportedly set to make a big money move for a certain former AEW champion.

It has been rumoured that former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May will be leaving Tony Khan’s promotion when her contract expires in the Summer. Those rumours have led to speculation that the Glamour will be heading to WWE once that happens.

May has been notably absent from AEW programming since her unsuccessful title challenge against Toni Storm at the Revolution PPV in March. After a brutally violent Hollywood Ending match, Storm defeated her rival with the piledriver through a table on top of the entrance ramp to put a full stop on their dramatic and blood soaked rivalry.

Is Mariah May WWE Bound?

During this absence, both Dave Meltzer and Brian Alvarez commented on May’s potential departure from Jacksonville and possible arrival in Stamford on the Wrestling Observer Radio, with Meltzer stating:

“I know from people in WWE…they know she wants to go there. I don’t know when her contract is up, everyone seems to think it’s this summer.”

Alvarez then added:

“I was given the impression it’s a two-year deal that she signed originally, so you can do the math. I have heard the same thing. At least in AEW, there’s a belief she’s heading to WWE.”

Now, in the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, it was reported that Triple H and company are ready to present Mariah May with an “outstanding offer.” Sources confirmed that the Stamford company is expected to show strong interest in signing her as her contract approaches its expiration this fall.

Over the past few months, several former AEW stars have become Superstars. Former AEW World Tag Team Champions Penta and Rey Fenix have both made a big impact in the company since arriving.

Then at the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 41, Rusev made his return to the company for the first time in 5 years. On Friday Night SmackDown, Aleister Black also made his comeback to the company.
