WWE To Make Change To Jey Uso’s Entrance

WWE To Make Change To Jey Uso's Entrance

Jey Uso will see his entrance altered in the near future.

Breaking away from The Bloodline in autumn 2023, Uso has risen up the Raw card and is now one of the top babyfaces on the Monday night roster. Along with his charisma and “Yeet!” catchphrase, Uso has gained a significant amount of popularity thanks to his entrance music and crowd participation.

At the recent Backlash Premium Live Event in Lyon, France, an extremely hot crowd managed to take Uso’s entrance to the next level. Using their phone lights in a darkened arena and passionately singing along to Uso’s theme song, this was one of many moments where the crowd let their feelings be known as loud as possible.

According to a new report by Fightful Select, the company is looking to keep this momentum going and is hopeful that they can replicate this feeling back in the United States. Corey Brennan of Fightful spoke with WWE production staff who plan to “mimic” the Lyon crowd for future Uso matches, including dimming venue lights for the former Tag Team Champion’s entrances to encourage the use of phone lights moving forward.

It is also noted that Uso vs. Priest took place in a dark match after a recent episode of SmackDown and that Uso received an “incredible” reaction from the crowd. Additionally, WWE plans on showcasing other outlets using Uso’s theme.

Jey Uso Declares Himself The “Yeeter Of Worlds”

Although the use of phone lights has been recently associated with Uso, many still see the action as the Fireflies that were used in the entrance of the late Bray Wyatt. When a fan on social media asked if they liked the recent change, Jey Uso declared that the Fireflies are now his:

Yall ain’t got no damn choice. Fireflies are mines now. #YeeterOfWorlds -jey

In a recent interview, Uso revealed what Wyatt’s fiance Jojo Offerman text him after watching the entrance.

With The Bloodline facing more descension following new arrivals, Jey Uso recently declared who he thinks is the current Tribal Chief.
