According to PWInsider, WWE will begin to implement a brand new, flexible work policy for their staff working behind the scenes at WWE headquarters.
The policy was discussed and agreed upon during the company’s recent Town Hall virtual meeting which was said to have included the likes of Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan (President and Chief Revenue Officer), Kristina Salen (Chief Financial Officer) and Sarah Cummins (Senior Vice President of Consumer Products) among others in WWE.
WWE’s new flexible work environment will mean that all current employees will have the choice of working from home during the current COVID-19 pandemic and will not be required to return to the office full-time.
Should they choose, they can also decide to work from WWE headquarters which are currently being relocated to much larger premises near the current building in Stamford, Connecticut.
Also during the meeting, it was revealed that Kristina Salen would chair quarterly earnings presentations for the company in order to communicate directly with employees.
Described as positive, WWE’s virtual Town Hall meeting gave the company the chance to thank it’s employees who have kept business ticking over since audiences left arenas and implement a safer working environment for those behind the scenes.
Inside the Ropes will keep you up to date with the new policy as when more details become available.
